Located on the Sea Ranch hillside near Shell Beach, Moonshadow is a favorite for many returning guests. The split level house is perfect destination to come enjoy The Sea Ranch. As you enter the upper-level great room, you'll be drawn to the view of the ocean through the trees. You'll also appreciate the light and views through the many skylights and windows. There are several built-in window seats which make for comfortable reading nooks (napping encouraged!) while sliding glass doors on both sides of the house provide an ocean breeze.
Enjoy the view from the deck off the living room, or the other deck right off of the dining room, which is connected to a lower level with a full-sized propane BBQ for outdoor cooking. The lovely garden courtyard provides privacy and is a great spot to enjoy the hot tub, perfect for seeing the stars on a clear night! You can also take in the view over a good meal in the dining room, which seats 6 comfortably. The fully-equipped kitchen has a gas stove, and everything needed for cooking. Invite the kids to the breakfast bar, to fuel up for an adventurous day at the beach.
Also upstairs is a master suite with a king bed, window seat with views to the ocean, a TV with a Roku stick for streaming, a DVD player and a bathroom with large shower. There's a skylight above the bed for viewing the stars. Downstairs has two bedrooms and a full bath. The first bedroom has a queen bed with a TV and DVD player. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a sliding glass door to the outside. Each bed has new sets of linens and luxurious towels.
If you'd like to stay connected, Moonshadow offers high-speed internet with WiFi throughout the house. In the living room, there is a TV with Roku stick for streaming and access to many other apps, as well as a DVD player. There are also puzzles and games in the cupboard, and plenty of books to choose from if you've forgotten yours.
Just down the hill from the house is a trail to Shell Beach which you can reach after crossing the 2-lane Hwy One. It is an easy, half-mile stroll through the trees down to the bluff path and the beach. One-Eyed Jack's playground is also within easy access, as are miles of Sea Ranch trails. Moonshadow's location provides great access to everything Sea Ranch offers.
Dogs are welcome at Moonshadow, with a limit of two, for an additional $65/dog. Please be sure to mention that you will be bringing a dog. Please be sure that they have a trip to the groomer, or thorough bathing before arrival to help us continue allowing pets. We request all visiting dogs are current on flea/tick treatments and that you pick up after your pet on the Sea Ranch grounds and in our fully-fenced courtyard. There are dog towels specifically for your furry friend, and please remember to keep your pets off the furniture and beds.
When you rent a home on Sea Ranch you will also get passes to the recreation centers which have swimming pools, saunas, tennis courts, and basketball courts. Miles of trails for gentle walks or a good hike wind throughout the Sea Ranch.

Maximum occupancy (not including children under 3) shall be 6 (SIX). Maximum number of vehicles shall be 3 (three), parked in driveway.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
