Located on the edge of the bluff in Gualala, Cook Cottage is perfectly suited to a romantic retreat or a fun getaway for up to 4 adults. Furnishings include ample seating both indoors and out on the view deck; great electronics including flat screen TVs with Blu-ray players in living room and both bedrooms. iPod docking music tower in living area, and docking alarm clocks in bedrooms; high end Aireloom mattresses on the two king beds; and wifi throughout.

The thoughtful provisions extend to the very well-equipped kitchen. There is also a large charcoal BBQ. The tall dining table is comfortably sized to hold the fruits of the chef's labors, and it's higher than normal to provide superb views even while seated.

The living room also enjoys a great view, plenty of seating, and options for relaxing with the woodstove, TV, or just a great book or conversation. Also on the main living level is a bathroom with shower, and laundry facilities. Upstairs are the two bedrooms flanking the second bathroom which features a deep stand-up Japanese-style soaking tub and a stall shower.

Cook Cottage is surrounded by wild natural beauty. In addition to the ever-changing ocean below you, your sightings might include whales during their seasonal migrations, wild turkeys, deer, and many soaring and hunting birds like pelicans, ospreys, hawks and more.

Please note the access from street level down the hill to the entry is via a series of terraced steps. There is no beach or bluff access from this rugged cliff-edge location. Due to the high-risk setting, this home is not suitable for children or dogs.

Maximum occupancy shall be 4 (four) adults only.
Maximum number of vehicles shall be 2 (two), parked in driveway or on road shoulder.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
NO outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time of day or night.

11% occupancy tax, plus cleaning and reservation fees will be added to the Daily and Weekly base rate.
