The Backpack House was by far one of the most unique and fun homes we have ever rented. The upper deck was our favorite spot for morning coffee to enjoy the sea views. We even could see whales! The downstairs bathroom is ridiculous in a great way. Our kids played throughout the grounds like it was an enchanted Forrest. Also, the sunset views from the same deck were just spectacular. I have nothing negative to say about this house, it was perfect and super clean! Thank you for the great memories.
Everything about this house is perfect. We love the big dining table, which is great for cards and board games. We love the luxurious glass shower. We love the quiet solitude. We especially loved looking up at the stars from the relaxing hot tub on the back deck. We thought we had a few small complaints. We didn't like the glass cutting board (bad for knives,) and we thought that the house would come with a supply of wood for the fireplace. On the last night, we discovered that there are vinyl and wood cutting boards leaning beside the knife block (where you might expect,) and the firewood is stacked by the outside garbage. (Note to our future selves: don't be stupid, look more carefully.) So no complaints! We love this house.
Pics cannot convey the beauty of this home. The spaciousness was so welcome. One of my favorite things to do was to open the garden doors and enjoy the sea breeze & birdsong.
