Coast News and Updates

System - Sunday, June 28, 2020

Our staff are certified through a specialized cleaning protocol training so that we can be at our very best. The required courses are based on guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We are committed to staying informed, protecting our staff, and serving our guests.

For our Gualala rentals: Mendocino County is allowing a careful reopening of lodging for tourists. Most importantly:  MAXIMUM 4 ADULTS & THEIR CHILDREN, all *MUST BE* from the same household unit per rental. Currently NO HOT TUBS are allowed to operate. Minimum 48 hours left open between rentals. Each proprietor is self-certifying and committing to high standards for their operations. Every guest will have to attest to their health status and sign an agreement to safe behavior and other expectations before any reservation will be accepted and confirmed. Right now, bookings need to be made by phone due to the care with which we need to build in blocks between renters as they are reserved. Thank you for understanding.

It is up to every one of us lodging providers to make this work well for our communities and our guests. We count on each of you to participate with full commitment to the expected standards, and we will do our level best to prepare for you to have an enjoyable return to a restorative coastal visit!

For our Sea Ranch rentals: Sonoma County Sea Ranch rentals are open now, with very similar restrictions as above so please read that again. In addition, and importantly: Sea Ranch pools, tennis, picnic and playgrounds are CLOSED or will have very limited availability for renters for the time being.

This information is changing every week or two, and reservations more than a few weeks out may be under different criteria. We retain the right to cancel or adjust any bookings as the guidelines and local conditions may require.

We are counting on you to mind the current orders, stay well, and keep an eye on our Facebook page.

Thank you for all you're doing to serve your families and community, and to keep each other healthy and well.

God bless.
